;Basics;
Full Name:
Delilah Marie Harper
Nicknames:
DeDe, Del, Le-lah, but she mainly goes by Delilah
Age:
16 years
Birthday:
December 14th
Grade:
10th, Sophomore
Sex:
Female
Appearance:
Body Type: Delilah's body isn't very curvy like most girls. Her hips stay closer to her body that a normal teenage girl. Delilah has a skinny mid-section and torso. The closest type of body type to describe her is an hour-glass.
Height: Delilah is pretty short. She is around five foot two inches. No one ever expected her to be tall, considering her parents were pretty short. Her father was only five foot nine and her mom was only five foot one. Everyone else in her family is around her height, so she was expected to be just like her parents and siblings. She doesn't let her height bring her down, she is still strong.
Weight: Delilah is pretty skinny, she is maybe around one-hundred pounds. She has skinny arms and thin legs. Like her height is connected with her family, so is her weight. Her siblings all weigh around the same weight. Her mom is probably the heaviest for her weight, weighing at one-hundred-ten pounds. Delilah isn't the shortest in her family, but she is the skinniest.
Muscle: Delilah is kind of muscular. She has "girl" abs. Her arms are kind of muscular, but to tell you have to see her flexing. She isn't really into sports, but she prefers to sing and play the piano and guitar, and she doesn't need muscles to do what.
Skin: Delilah has fair skin, she goes outside, but when she does, she usually gets really bad sunburn, so whenever she goes outside she puts on chap stick and sunscreen. She skin is a pale, peach/pink-ish color. It is smooth and nearly flawless.
Clothing Style: Delilah has an "emo" clothing style. She never wears high-heels or anything that will make her seem taller. She isn't self-conscious about her height, so she sticks with high-tops, ballet flats, or converse. She wears skinny jeans of any color, from the average blue, to a non-common black, to a bright pink or yellow. Her jeans never stop hugging her skinny, petite legs. She also wears leggings, like preppy girls do, and how emo kids wear it too. She does wear it with the short-shorts or mini-skirts. Or she will wear her leggings with a dress bought at hot-topic or a longer t-shirt. She likes to wear a lot of t-shirts, ones that are vintage, or band t-shirts. She never wears Jewelry, but her black pony-tail that sits on her wrists might be mistaken as a bracelet.
Hair: Delilah's hair is one of a kind. It definitely fits under the emo category. She has side-swept bangs that flow across her fore-head to the left. She has naturally thick hair, but it has been thinned so many times you can't really tell. She has many layers in her hair, but you can't really count them up. There are maybe around eight, but most of her hair was cut randomly with no specific ways of making it look organized. Her hair is always straight. It is never wavy or curly, at least not when she is in public, maybe right after her shower, or before she straightens it, but she would never be caught dead with her hair not done. Her hair color never stops changing. Her hair is naturally blonde, she started living her life with blonde hair and it stayed there for a while, as she became older and more rebellious, her hair became more orange over the years. At this moment, her hair is an orangish-redish color with lighter, closer to blonde highlights. She likes how her hair is now, and she probably won't ever change it to a different color now that she is content.
Facial Structure: Delilah's jaw is heart-shaped. Her eyes are almond shaped. Her nose isn't very big at all, it leaves her face and goes into a point. Her mouth is usually in a smiling position. Her eyebrows are perfectly arched, but not over-arched.
Make-up: Delilah's make-up is usually bold. She wears thick eye-liner, any color, usually something that matches her outfits, but mainly black and not a lot of mascara. She only uses mascara to cover her blonde eye-lashes. She only wears eye-shadow occasionally, but when she does, it is bold just like her. She wears lip gloss too, but only when she feels like it. She mainly wears chap stick.
Personality:
Bold: Delilah, like her clothing style, has a very bold personality. She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her, and lives life like there is no tomorrow. Nothing anyone will say about her will affect how she is.
Crazy: Delilah loves to party. Delilah parties hard, and long. She says she hates people that drink and smoke and get high, but she is really one of them. It all happens so fast though, that she doesn't realize it. One night, she will be at a party, and she will wake up in some strangers bed, naked, and feeling nasty. She doesn't feel any regret though.
Strong-willed: Delilah is hard to break. If she has made up her mind, she won't go back, she will listen to suggestions, but she probably won't follow that option, after all, it is nice to know your options.
Hyper: Delilah is always hyper. Just like she is crazy, she is always ready to party. She she usually never calm, and even when she is tired, she is hyper. If someone tells her to calm down, she will, but it mainly depends on who is telling her to do so.
Nice: Delilah is nice to everyone, unless they are mean to her. She hates stereotypes, and how people look at her and assume that she is depressed and completely emo, they don't give her another chance half of the time. Sure, she has bad first-impressions of some people, but she tries to push that aside.
Happy-Go-Lucky: Delilah loves her life and what has happened so far. She takes what is given to her and has fun. She wouldn't change anything about her life.
Quiet/Shy: Despite how hyper and crazy Delilah is, she is quiet. She gets shy when she is put into the spotlight and when people talk about her, good or bad. But, she doesn't care if she receives dirty looks.
Smart: Delilah is an A+ student, but teacher usually dock her down because she misbehaves and is loud in class. She doesn't care if people think she is a nerd because she has all As, she doesn't even study.
Fun: Delilah is overall a fun person to be around. She has a lot of fun with all of her friends, and knows how to make people laugh, and she is not afraid to do whatever that is, even if it will embarrass her, she doesn't care.
No Talking Smack: She refuses to spread gossip, unless it is for sure true, or she wants to know it is true. She doesn't do this because a nasty rumor was spread about her, and she hated how it felt.
1991: They got into the car and rushed to the hospital. Dana and David rushed into the emergency room and were settled in a maternity room. After nine hours of labor, a blue eyed, blonde haired baby was born. David and Dana waited for about an hour deciding on the name. Since Destiny's name started with a D, then this new baby's had too. After an hour of debating, they finally came up with Delilah Marie.
1992-1997: The beginning years of Delilah's life were boring, like most one-year to six-year-olds.
1998: When Delilah turned seven, she had a major accident. Delilah was running down the street with her sister, and she one of the neighbor boys stuck his foot out. Delilah fell to the ground and landed bad on her arm. Everyone heard it cracked. All the neighbor kid helped carry her back into the house. She has had a scar on her arm since. She never blamed the kid for tripping her, even though she saw him stick his foot out.
1999: Delilah started to play the piano when she was eight. She always hated her lessons, and wished that her mom wouldn't have made her do it. She started out slow and after maybe five months of practice she was a star. She already played songs, and made songs. She stopped showing up at practice, and taught herself by ear.
2000: In Delilah started guitar lesson by choice. She practice like crazy. She hated the lesson, but her future was on the line. When she was nine, her love for music started developing. Her goal in life was to become a famous singer/song writer.
2004: Delilah was full speed on her music career. She was already taking music lesson from a rocker, teaching her how to play mad guitar and piano. Then they practice her voice, making it stronger and more used to the loud screaming and straining of her voice. This was when Delilah first started dying her hair and becoming more "emo."
2005: Delilah was 13 when she had her "first time." Her parents instantly sent her to private school. [they only found out because she didn't come home at nine like she was supposed, and they made her friends confess] They wanted to clean up her act. There was no way that such good, rich, and well known parents could have a daughter like that, a whore. They couldn't speak of that word, using it to describe their own daughter.
2006: Delilah finished her first song New Year's Eve when she was 15. Yes, it was kind of shaky at first, and it took a while to finish it, and to make it work all together. It included the piano and her voice. It was about how she was not ashamed of who she was. That she was tired of the shit her parents were putting her through. The only person who knew about this was her best friend at the time, Audrey Miller. Audrey immediate loved it and showed it to everyone they knew. The private boarding school was buzzing about this. She kept writing songs, and asked other kids for help and things she could write about. When a song came up talking about the crappy boarding school, the teachers and other authority did not approve, and started disciplining her.
2007: In May, Delilah's song writing was becoming famous, or infamous around the school. After the authority's talked about it, they had to send her back. They sent her parents a letter, and they were furious with Delilah. They came in the next morning and pulled her out. They didn't hesitate at all. Delilah's parents didn't know what to do with her anymore.
2008: Delilah's parent's attempt to tame her this year started by home-schooling her and bringing in tutors. They didn't want her bad habits, such as sleeping with random guys, partying, her music [they wanted her to be a lawyer or doctor], to influence her younger siblings, they had to get rid of her. They did some research of a far away school who was in the news often, maybe not for good things, but in the know. After a while of searching, they found Claremont. They wanted to her to be terrified. She shrugged at their latest attempt, and packed her bags. Then openly sent herself to a boarding school, far away from her home in Hawaii.

Delilah really didn't want to be here. She hated gym, it was probably her least favorite class, ever. Well, she actually hated Speech more, now that she thought of it. Some of the kids in the class were staring. Delilah was really outgoing after you got to know her, but before that, she was shy. She hated having attention, unless she had it while performing or anything of that means.
She bit her bottom lip and smiled at the girl staring at her. Her partner in the stupidest sport ever made (according to Delilah). Honestly, Delilah could care less. It wasn't an analysis of her, she wasn't exactly sizing her up or anything. She looked to be in awe. Delilah was popular at her old boarding school, at least there were people who worshiped her and copied her every move. But she never considered herself beautiful, or anything like that.
This girl though, she was pretty. She was natural, exactly was Delilah wasn't. She was original, she gave herself that. The only person she could think of with the same style was one of her followers. The others were pretty independent. Still kind of like her though. She had a pretty face and beautiful long brown hair.
The girl was small, she could tell right away, but Delilah thought she had to be taller than her. Delilah was a little over five foot two also, and around one hundred and five pounds. When this girl stood up, Delilah was relieved that she wasn't the shortest one there. She was always a short one, and her ex teased her, asking her why she wasn't six feet tall (he had the whole "if both parents are short that the kids will be mutant and will be extremely tall" type of mind). But no, this was expected. Genetics.
Delilah watched the girl come up, she seemed happy. Delilah understood, she probably was tired of sitting and doing nothing. All of a sudden, a random soccer ball flew out of no where, hitting the girl on her arm. Instinctively, the girl threw her other hand to where the ball had hit. Delilah flinched for the girl as she saw what was already developing. "Um, are you okay?"
The girl defended it quickly. Delilah smirked, she couldn't really help it. It was pretty funny, it was always funny, at least until someone got really badly hurt. As in, poking an eye out. Delilah looked over at two guys, she assumed the ball had come from one of them, considering that one had just yelled at the other. She rolled her eyes. Guys were immature. That was another reason why she hated gym, there were always show-offs in the class when it came to their sports, whether they were good or not.
"Alright." Delilah said, when she said that she was going to get the ball. Delilah had no idea why she hadn't gotten the ball when she was still by the gym teacher, or why the gym teacher hadn't handed her before she went over. Delilah watch her walked over, Delilah imagined her skipping for some reason. She just seemed like that type of person.
Delilah smiled at her manners. "Well, it's my first day, I'm kind of expected to be at each class." She said sarcastically adding 'And they would tell my parents anyways, and I'd be dead.' in her mind. So in other words, Delilah would be here everyday.
"I don't really play soccer, or any sport for that matter." She was already explaining herself. "So, don't expect me to be good, and I'm sorry if you get a lot of exercise." She said with a chuckle. She looked away and surveyed the rest of the class while she adjusted her shorts so they would fit. Delilah's fit her perfectly comfortably.
As the girl passed the ball to her, she stopped it, and was surprised by how she did. She smiled as she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you Yasminda." She said, looking down at the ball. Delilah liked her name. It was pretty, just like her. She brought her foot back slowly, then popped the ball towards Yasminda.
